Women on Mission (WMU)
WMU is an organization teaching about Missions. There are
three women on mission
groups. WMU promotes the Eliza Broadus Offering for State Missions, Lottie Moon
Christmas Offering for International Missions and Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for
North American Missions. We participate in the Fall Food Round-Up for the children
at Kentucky Baptist Home for Children. We collect gifts and participate in Give-A-Gift to give to Laurel Heights
Nursing Home, plus we have a yearly birthday party at the nursing home in December.
We attend Quarterly meetings of Associational WMU and participate in the World Chicken Festival held in downtown London, Kentucky. For more information contact the church office.
The Carol Belch WMU meets each Third Thursday at 7:00pm at various homes.
The Eddie Fields WMU meets the second Thursday at 7:00pm at various homes.
