Becoming a Christian

·         Every person is born into this world made in the likeness of God. 

·         Our relationship with God is broken because of our sin. The Bible tells us
      All we, like sheep, have gone astray.
      We have turned, everyone, to his own way. 

·         Because God made us and loves us, He took the responsibility and consequences of our sin on Himself.
      He took on Him the sin of us all. 

·         If we believe in Jesus as the Son of God who took the consequences of our sin, asking Him to forgive us and allow Him to become the center of our lives, we are forgiven of our sin and our relationship with God our creator is restored.
      For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not die, but will have eternal life.

You can become a Christian if by faith you will pray a prayer like this:

Dear God,
I know that I have sinned and I am truly sorry. I ask you to forgive me and make me the person you intended when you created me. I ask you to live in me and direct my life to be like Jesus, your Son. Amen.
