Christianity 101 is the first of four studies written by Rick Warren, and will be taught by Terry Lester on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m.
• Class 101 is a commitment to Christ and to a Church Family
• Class 201 is a commitment to the habits necessary for spiritual growth
• Class 301 is a commitment to discovering and using God-given gifts and
abilities in serving God and others
• Class 401 is a commitment to share the Good News with others
This will be a great study for everyone interested in strengthening their faith!
The Book of Acts is the four week completion of the 2011 study led by Terry Lester, on the beginning of the Church. It will continue to meet in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday nights in January, from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Join the class even if you weren’t able to come for the beginning.
The Good and Beautiful God, Falling In Love With The God Jesus Knows is a nine week discussion group that will meet on Sunday Nights from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. It will be led by Sharon Kidd in the Bonoth Classroom. If you are interested in deepening your knowledge of and relationship with God, this study will guide you. It is the first of a trilogy called “The Apprentice Series, a Curriculum for Christlikeness” written by James Smith Greybill (he also wrote the “Renovare Spiritual Formation Workbook”).
The books will be available at the first class and will cost $15. Scholarships for the cost of the book will be provided at request.
Praying with Hymns and Spiritual Songs
In February, Jerry Wright will be teaching a class on Sunday nights from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Choir Room, called Praying with Hymns and Spiritual Songs. Please sign up for this class on the Office Door List.
