Recreation Center

The First Baptist Church Recreational Center is the culmination of dreams and visions that began over 20 years ago in the life of this congregation. Former pastors and lay leaders all contributed to the formation of this dream, and in November 1998, it became a reality.

Recreation CenterThe Rec Center is open 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. daily and consists of a walking track, aerobics room, adult fitness room and a gymnasium. It is open to the public; non-church members pay a small fee of $45 per year, which is used for equipment maintenance and general upkeep of the facility. The Rec Center stays very busy, averaging more than 1,000 visitors each week.
